Implant treatment consists of two main stages:
1. Surgical Stage: This is the phase where the implants are placed.
2. Prosthetic Stage: This involves the preparation and placement of the crowns.
Placing a single dental implant typically takes about 10 to 30 minutes. At the end of this period, a temporary crown is placed on top of the implant.
This temporary crown acts as a template for the final crown. After a waiting period of 1 to 3 months, the temporary crown is removed, and a permanent crown is placed to complete the treatment.
